It was established within the United States of America in 1996 after a group of health care professionals realised the bi-products of the medical waste incinerators have been having a direct adverse influence on the health of the native inhabitants. The organisation now works internationally to assist health care organisations in delivering healthcare, without negatively impacting human health or causing environmental injury. Estimates introduced in Figures 15–18 are from the primary 6 months of 2021, January–June. These data aren’t included within the abstract analyses performed for this report.
